It’s the first real contender to match most of the benefits available with the UK’s leading prepaid card – Cashplus Gold. In fact, if you are looking for a prepaid card that has the acceptance of MasterCard, but are also looking to withdraw cash on the card, then it’s currently the cheapest around, with UK ATM cash advance fees being lower than all other fully branded prepaid MasterCard cards available. What's Good The Tuxedo prepaid MasterCard comes with your Tuxedo eccount and is a fully branded Chip and PIN MasterCard - accepted at more than 24 million locations around the world. It offers advantages over Maestro branded cards, with acceptance at most online internet retailers globally, display the MasterCard brandmark. UK ATM cash advance fees are the lowest of any other Mastercard branded cards currently available. You don't need a bank account and are guaranteed to be accepted, regardless of your credit history. What's not so good? Not a lot – The Tuxedo pay monthly product has a monthly fee of £4.99 which may not suite all consumers, however, this fixed fee will work out much more cost effective for medium/high card users than the fees associated with some cards charging reload and transaction usage fees. |

Application Process The application process is very quick and easy to use. Apply online and you can pay via debit/credit card, SMS text message or by a Paysafe voucher – available at PayPoint locations. |

Fees  Tuxedo offer 2 different products – A pay monthly version, where you pay a fixed monthly fee of £4.99, but no purchase fees, and a pay as you go product where you pay a 2.95% fee on all purchase transactions. UK ATM fees are a low 50p per withdrawal on the pay monthly product – the cheapest withdrawal fee on any prepaid card. But remember, if you intend to use your card frequently, and have the pay as you go Tuxedo card, watch those transaction fees as they will add up! |
Self Servicing You can service your account on the Tuxedo website or via an interactive voice response. You can view your balance, recent transactions and change your personal details. You can also now get your balance via SMS text message. |
Re-load Locations The Tuxedo card can be reloaded and topped-up at the following loctions: Post Office, Paypoint participating retailers, Debit/credit card and at bank branches across the UK. |
