What's Good

The Freedom card is the only full branded MasterCard available in the UK. It has Chip and Pin, and is accepted at more than 30 million locations around the globe. You don't need a bank account and are guaranteed to be accepted, regardless of your credit history. In addition No ID is Required and with No Up-front Purchase fee so its an Instant Approval prepaid card

What's not so good?

If you intend to use the Freedom card frequently for ATM cash withdrawals, it can be expensive. There are two products on offer. One for frequent users and one for low use users.

Very efficient application process, Freedom card may conduct electronic checks for verification purposes but the overall application process has been made simple to use and in the top 10 of the fastest we have tested. Apply online and you will receive a confirmation letter the following day and in some cases the card is delivered next day if requested otherwise you will receive your prepaid MasterCard in around 3 days.
