Registering Prepaid Cards on Paypal and Ebay

Can I Use Prepaid Cards on Paypal and Ebay?
Yes you can!
If you don’t have a debit or credit card, or simply just don’t want to use your bank account or credit card details online, prepaid cards provide a great solution.
You can use your prepaid card to register on paypal and start sending money or shopping on ebay immediately.
However, if you are registering for a new paypal account, you will be subject to a reduced spending limit (currently £1000). Once this threshold has been reached, you are required to verify your paypal account and register bank account details, in order to lift this spending limitation.
In order for you to register your prepaid card, paypal will check your address. So remember, the address that you provide when you set-up your pre-paid account, must match the address details that you provide when registering for an account with paypal. Otherwise, the address details will not match, and you may experience problems with the registration process.

Anonymous prepaid cards or vouchers, which are usually loaded with a fixed credit and are not re-loadable, can also be used on paypal.
Please note that whilst most prepaid cards may be used with a paypal account, they will not enable you to set-up an ebay sellers account or withdraw money from paypal. In order to do this, you would require a bank account.
However, Some prepaid cards will enable you to do this, and you can read more about prepaid cards that allow you to set-up an ebay account and transfer money from paypal
