Post Office Reloads
Many pre-paid card issuers allow their cards to be reloaded via the Post Office. With a network of around 14,000 branches, there is bound to be a branch near you.

The speed, at which funds are made available in your prepaid account, depends on the individual card issuer. However, generally, funds will be available on your card within 1-2 working days, once you have paid your money over the Post Office counter.

Reloads can usually be made by debit card or cash, and are restricted to a maximum single reload of £999 or £500 (depending on the issuer). Some card issuers charge a fee for Post Office reloads, so check the fees comparison tablefor more details.

paypoint Reloads
PayPoint is one of the UK’s leading networks for convenient local prepaid card top-ups. With over 18,000 retailer outlets available, located in newsagents, garages, supermarkets, convenience stores, and off-licences, you are sure to find a local reload point near you.

Funds are usually made available in your prepaid account almost immediately, but this varies, depending on your prepaid card provider, so please check this with your chosen card issuer if you are unsure.

Some card issuers charge a fee for PayPoint reloads, so check the fees comparison table for more information.

payzone reloads
Payzone has over 30,000 local retail outlets in the UK, offering prepaid reloads. These range from newsagents, petrol stations, convenience stores and many high street locations offering 7 days per week and extended opening hours.

Funds are usually made available in your account immediately, but please check this with your chosen prepaid card issuer, as this can vary! Some card issuers charge a fee for payzone reloads, so check the fees comparison table for more details.

internet Reloads
Some card issuers allow debit card reloads via their website or direct internet banking payments. You can also pay your salary directly onto some of the cards, or arrange for any government benefits to be credited directly to your prepaid card. Some card issuers also have local retailers that offer real-time fund reload capability.
